TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Article 1: Definitions & Philosophy
1.1. User/Bitgolder: The service provider, Bitgolder. 1.2. Consumer: A natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession. 1.3. The Contract: The agreement formed between Bitgolder and the Consumer. 1.4. Privacy-First Mandate: Bitgolder prioritizes “Data Minimization.” We only collect the essential information required for the physical fulfillment of orders and legal compliance.
Article 2: Scope & Simplified Engagement
2.1. These terms apply to all legal relationships between Bitgolder and the Consumer. 2.2. Simplified Due Diligence: For orders up to £20,000, Bitgolder utilizes simplified procedures. We do not require intrusive background checks or extensive identity dossiers for transactions within these standard thresholds.
Article 3: Offers, Contracts, and Price Locking
3.1. Instant Lock-In: Prices are locked at the time of order confirmation. Bitgolder employs professional hedging strategies to ensure your price remains fixed regardless of market volatility. 3.2. Contract Formation: A contract is finalized upon acceptance of the offer or the commencement of order execution. 3.3. Crypto Transactions: To ensure speed and privacy, cryptocurrency payments must be completed within 30 minutes of invoice generation.
Article 4: Execution & Standards
4.1. Quality Guarantee: Bitgolder adheres to the Global Precious Metals Code. All products are guaranteed to meet UK hallmarking standards (Hallmarking Act 1973). 4.2. Timelines: All delivery deadlines are indicative. We focus on secure, discreet fulfillment and will notify you of any significant logistical updates.
Article 5: Stealth Logistics & Risk
5.1. Discreet Packaging: All shipments use “Stealth Packaging”—unmarked, neutral boxes with no mention of “Gold” or “Bitgolder” to ensure your privacy during transit. 5.2. Anonymous Shipping: Available for orders up to £20,000. Where local courier regulations allow, we support delivery options that minimize formal identity checks at the door. 5.3. Insurance & Risk: All shipments are fully insured by Bitgolder. Risk transfers to the Consumer only upon confirmed physical delivery.
Article 6: Payments & Refunds
6.1. Currency Choice: We accept various cryptocurrencies via secure, privacy-respecting providers. 6.2. Favorable Refunds: Refunds are processed in the original cryptocurrency or its USD equivalent, whichever is more favorable to the consumer at the time of the refund, ensuring you are not penalized by market swings.
Article 7: Data Sovereignty & Security
7.1. Minimalist Retention: We do not build “user profiles” for marketing. Once a transaction is complete and statutory tax periods have passed, you may request the permanent erasure of your data. 7.2. Cybersecurity: We prioritize technical encryption over identity harvesting. Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is used solely to protect your account integrity. 7.3. GDPR Compliance: We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 but apply a “Privacy by Design” approach to limit the data we actually hold.
Article 8: Retention of Title & Liability
8.1. Ownership: Goods remain the property of Bitgolder until full payment is received. 8.2. Limited Liability: Bitgolder’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product, except where prohibited by UK law.
Article 9: Returns and Complaints
9.1. Right of Return: Consumers have 30 days to return products for a full refund (excluding custom items or specific market-linked exemptions). 9.2. Discreet Resolution: Complaints or return requests should be sent to [email protected]. We aim for a “no-questions-asked” resolution whenever possible.
Article 10: Legal Resilience
10.1. Applicable Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 10.2. Information Requests: Bitgolder will only provide user data to authorities if presented with a valid, specific legal mandate under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and we will only provide the minimum information required by law.
Digital-to-Physical Bridge: Bitgolder acts as a specialized conduit for the conversion of digital liquidity into tangible, high-purity physical assets, allowing users to move wealth out of the digital ecosystem and into private, physical ownership. 11.2. Non-Custodial Philosophy: Our service is transactional rather than custodial; we facilitate the immediate acquisition and dispatch of metals, ensuring that Bitgolder does not act as a long-term bank or financial intermediary, which further minimizes the need for ongoing surveillance and data collection.
