Product Information

1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin (Random Year)

The American Gold Eagle Series was introduced by the United States Mint in 1986. The first gold coin issued by the United States in more than 50 years, the Gold Eagle became the official gold bullion coin of the country. The beautiful designs have only been updated once, with the reverse changed in mid-2021. Right now, 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins from random years are available for purchase online from Bitgolder.

Coin Highlights:

Arrives inside protective plastic flips or plastic tubes of 20 coins! Available as of 1986! Random years offered! Contains 1 Troy oz of actual gold content. Bears a face value of $50 (USD) backed by the federal government. Obverse features Lady Liberty. Reverse includes either a family of bald eagles or a bald eagle head. Please note we cannot guarantee the year of issue for any given coin in this listing. Protect your investment with 32mm Direct Fit Air-Tite Capsules or 33mm Air-Tite Coin Tubes, which hold 20 coins. Each 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin available here comes with a protective plastic flip. In this listing, we offer you the chance to purchase a 1 oz Gold Eagle with a random year of issue. The Gold Eagle has been issued annually since 1986. We do not guarantee a year of issue in advance. If you buy more than one, you may get coins with the same year of issue.

American Gold Eagle coins debuted 53 years after the last gold coins were struck by the US Mint, the 1933 $20 Gold Double Eagle. The modern American Gold Eagle is a 22-karat specimen with 91.67% gold content, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver.

In the obverse design of American Gold Eagle Coins, you will find Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic image of Lady Liberty. Designed in 1907, it originally featured on the obverse of the $20 Gold Double Eagle through 1933.

For the reverse field of 1 oz Gold Eagles, the US Mint features one of two possible designs. From 1986 to mid-2021, the US mint featured Miley Busiek’s depiction of a family of bald eagles in and around the nest. As of mid-2021, the coins now feature Jennie Norris’ image of the head of a bald eagle in left-profile relief.

Additional information

At Bitgolder, we provide comprehensive insurance coverage for all shipments. Should any issues arise during the transit of your package, our insurance policy will safeguard it, subject to the conditions specified in Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions. We urge you to review this section attentively.

In the event of a lost or damaged package, we will proceed with a claim. We retain the discretion to either re-ship your items or issue a refund.

It is advisable to decline acceptance of any shipment that shows signs of damage or tampering, as the shipping insurance ceases upon signing for or receiving the package. When refused, the package(s) will be returned to Bitgolder for inspection. If you have received a damaged or tampered package, please retain all packaging and reach out to Bitgolder within 48 hours for additional guidance. Failure to report any damage or tampering within 48 hours from the signature or delivery date may affect our ability to process your claim.

The arrival of your order is determined by three main factors:

  1. Payment Receipt: Upon receiving your payment, you will be sent a Paid email. Please note that checks and wires must be initiated/sent by you.

  2. Holding Period: After the payment is cleared, we will hold the order for a specified period. The hold periods for each payment method are detailed in the checkout and your confirmation email. In some cases, such as fast cryptocurrency payments like BTC lighting network, the hold may be instant.

  3. Shipping Method and Transit Time: Our 3-Day Air shipping method is the fastest and most reliable, typically delivering within 1-3 business days once in transit. USPS, on the other hand, is less consistent in both transit time and tracking accuracy.

All packages shipped by Bitgolder are insured under specific conditions. In the rare event that your order is Lost in Transit, it is crucial to contact us immediately. For USPS, Lost in Transit is defined as tracking not updating for 5 or more calendar days, while for UPS, it is 3 calendar days. You must reach out to us within 7 days since the last tracking for USPS and 3 days since the last tracking for UPS. Failure to do so within these timeframes will result in the package not being covered by insurance.

Upon contacting us, we will conduct a thorough investigation with the carrier and initiate the claim process. Please note that the claims process may take 30 or more days to resolve, and many Lost in Transit shipments end up being delivered late. If the package is eventually delivered, you must notify us within 24 hours.

For further details, refer to Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions.
