2026 1oz Gold American Eagle Coin

The American Gold Eagle is the United States’ flagship gold bullion program. 1 oz of 22-karat gold (91.67% pure, alloyed with 3% silver and 5.33% copper for striking durability) struck at West Point. The 22-karat alloy is identical to the historical Saint-Gaudens $20 Double Eagle that ran from 1907–1933, and the obverse design is a direct adaptation of that Saint-Gaudens “Liberty” walking with torch and olive branch.

About the United States Mint
