Each 2023 1 oz Australian Rectangular Gold Dragon Coin offered by Bitgolder comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, encased in a protective plastic capsule. The limited edition of these coins features a fortunate mintage of just 8,888 gold coins.

In contrast to Western dragons, which are often portrayed as malevolent beings, the Chinese dragon is seen as a benevolent entity linked to water and rain, believed to usher in prosperity and fertility. Typically depicted as a serpent, the mythical Chinese dragon occasionally appears as a composite creature with features from various animals, including the body of a snake, scales of a fish, claws of an eagle, antlers of a deer, and the mane of a lion.

The obverse of the 2023 Australian Rectangular Gold Dragon Coin displays the right-profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II. This memorial design features the Queen adorned with the George IV State Diadem, alongside memorial date marks commemorating the reign of Her Late Majesty, engraved as 1952-2022.

On the reverse of the 2023 1 oz Rectangular Gold Dragon Coins, there is an illustration of a serpent-like dragon. The design includes the dragon’s snaking body with a backdrop of treasures beneath, featuring coins, treasure chests, and a small bust of a statue in the lower-right field.
